Eric Kinoti

Eric Kinoti is a tax expert with over 18 years of experience in accounting, audit, finance, tax advisory and compliance. He is the Founder and Managing Director of TruQuantum Consulting and Managing Partner at Kinoti & Company (Firm Practicing No. PF/999), and previously held roles at CFAO Automotive (Dt. Dobie & Co. (K) Ltd), ABSA Bank Kenya (formerly Barclays Bank of Kenya) and PricewaterhouseCoopers. He holds a Bachelor of Laws, an MBA in Strategic Management and a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance Option) from the University of Nairobi, is a Certified Public Accountant of Kenya (CPA(K)) in good standing with ICPAK, and is currently pursuing the Advocates Training Programme at the Kenya School of Law. Eric advises clients across agriculture, infrastructure, energy, manufacturing, media, education, not-for-profit, real estate, technology, telecommunications, e-commerce, transport and logistics, financial services and government sectors on Corporate Income Tax, PAYE, Withholding Tax, VAT, Excise Duty and Customs Duty. His experience spans advising on the tax implications of setting up companies in Kenya, helping start-ups and SMEs achieve tax compliance and efficiency, leading tax restructuring assignments across Kenya, East Africa, Mauritius, Congo and South Sudan to optimise shareholder returns, and conducting buy-side and sell-side finance and tax due diligence.
